Businesswoman Grace Makun has expressed her concerns regarding the changing trends in the contents of children's party packs.

Makun noted that in the past, parents would typically include toys in the packs prepared for their children's birthday celebrations. However, she has observed that parents are now opting for food items instead of toys in these packs.

She remarked that the presentation of these party packs resembles a charity donation more than a festive celebration.

"Party packs be looking like a charity project. What happened to toys? Educational resources, simple treats and so on?" she questioned.

Makun went on to list typical items now appearing in the packs, such as instant noodles, bags of rice, sugar, Milo, seasoning cubes, and cereal.
