American media personality Howard Stern, along with his wife Beth, is facing legal action from a former employee. The individual, Leslie Kuhn, claims she experienced a hostile work environment during her tenure as an executive assistant to the couple.
Kuhn’s lawsuit states that her responsibilities included residing at the Sterns' Southampton residence while performing her duties. Her role reportedly encompassed managing household staff, handling payroll, coordinating schedules, and overseeing operations for an animal rescue and fostering initiative run from their home.
According to the legal filing, Kuhn asserts that her termination occurred less than two years after she began the position. She attributes her dismissal to a "hostile work environment," coupled with what she describes as excessively demanding tasks and disorganized business management.
The complaint also touches upon the considerable scope of the couple's animal rescue activities. Beth Stern has previously been vocal about her efforts to rescue a large number of cats over several years.
Furthermore, Kuhn alleges that after her employment ended, she was presented with a separation agreement by a law firm representing Stern’s production company. This agreement, she claims, included a non-disclosure clause (NDA) with a backdated signature purportedly hers, which she states was not authentic.
Kuhn is seeking a court declaration that the NDA is invalid, which would permit her to discuss her employment experience openly and respond to any public statements made about her. At present, neither Howard nor Beth Stern has issued a public statement addressing these allegations.
