Arsenal Football Club is preparing to sell Gabriel Martinelli at the conclusion of the current season. The Brazilian winger, who has struggled to find form, has managed just one goal and two assists throughout his 22 Premier League appearances this season.

The club is reportedly in negotiations with the agents of Rafael Leao, a left winger from AC Milan, concerning a potential transfer valued at around £75 million. Additionally, they are also considering Antonio Nusa from RB Leipzig and Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, though it appears that Gordon is unlikely to be available with coach Eddie Howe keen on retaining him. Nusa has drawn comparisons to Neymar due to his exceptional dribbling skills and fast- paced playing style.

Throughout this season, Leandro Trossard has consistently outperformed Martinelli, leading to Mikel Arteta's increased trust in him as a starter whenever he is fit. Consequently, this has restricted Martinelli's playing time. Nevertheless, his impressive physical attributes and determination are expected to attract offers from various clubs as the transfer window approaches.

Reports indicate that Barcelona has also shown interest in Martinelli but seems inclined towards signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, given his successful loan period at the Nou Camp where he has gained significant popularity among fans.

Should Martinelli depart, Arsenal would certainly pursue a new winger. Players like Gordon, Leao, Nusa, and Nico Williams from Atletico Club may enter contention, potentially igniting a bidding war among top clubs at the end of the season.

In another context, Real Madrid's scouts were observed at St. James' Park during the match between Newcastle and Manchester City, where they were keenly monitoring midfielder Sandro Tonali as the Spanish giants look to fortify their squad for the upcoming summer transfer window. Notably, it appears that Manchester City's Rodri is a prime target for Real Madrid. Even though Rodri is contracted until 2027, the club has demonstrated its capability to lure top players in the Premier League to the Bernabeu. While Real Madrid considers both Rodri and Tonali as viable options, Newcastle is likely to demand around £100 million to release Tonali.

Arsenal has been actively linked to Tonali in recent weeks, sending scouts to observe his performances. There are indications that they would like to finalize a deal before the summer.

The situation is further complicated by Manchester United's search for a midfield replacement for Casemiro, who is expected to leave after his lengthy tenure at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues to seek a substitute for Luka Modric following his transfer to AC Milan last year, positioning either Rodri or Tonali as potential solutions for their midfield issues.

Chelsea is reportedly looking to replace Liam Delap, who has struggled to transition from Ipswich Town with only three goals in 33 appearances. They are considering Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque, who has returned to Brazil after an unsuccessful spell at Barcelona. Chelsea's coaching staff is keen to strike a deal ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Nottingham Forest is showing signs of revival as they strive to avoid relegation. They believe they can secure a victory against Fulham this weekend, which could put pressure on Tottenham, who will be facing Liverpool.

In the backdrop of typical manager scrutiny, Everton's strikers, Thierno Barry and Beto, have been urged to improve their scoring records to replicate the success of former teammate Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Nottingham Forest's management has faced challenges, highlighted by the dismissal of three coaches this season under the ownership of Greek billionaire Vangelis Marinakis, reflecting the high hopes placed on the club's performance amidst ongoing turmoil.
