He pointed out that the cooperation of stakeholders and media entities is crucial for the election's success.

Furthermore, Agboke urged all political parties involved in the Osun elections to adhere strictly to INEC's guidelines instead of attempting to disrupt the electoral process.

Regarding the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) initiative, he noted that INEC has upgraded its registration equipment to prevent instances of double or multiple registrations.

Agboke also mentioned that any individual found to be involved in or attempting multiple registrations would face arrest.

He called on the media to work collaboratively with INEC to mitigate the spread of misinformation, stressing the importance of verifying facts and information from the commission prior to publishing news.

To enhance communication, he revealed that all media professionals in Osun have been added to a WhatsApp group set up by the commission’s spokesperson, Musa Olurode, allowing them direct access to updates on the commission's activities.

Agboke further indicated that he would take legal action against any journalist or media platform that publishes defamatory or false information regarding the commission without proper verification.
