Popular streamer IShowSpeed participated in a lighthearted discussion at the Nike Gallery in Lagos, where a guide claimed he was Yoruba, despite IShowSpeed proposing that he might identify as Igbo.
In the dialogue, the gallery guide, named Allyson-Aina Davies, encouraged the streamer to dance, asserting that his moves demonstrated Yoruba heritage. "Come and have one more dance with us to discover your true authentic Yoruba self. I believe you're a Yoruba guy," she remarked.
IShowSpeed questioned her assertion, inquiring, "You think I'm Yoruba?" The guide confidently replied, "Absolutely." Speed challenged her by countering, "But what if I'm Igbo?" to which she laughed off, stating, "No, I think you possess the Yoruba style."
The playful exchange progressed as Speed quipped, "What if I'm Igbo?" The guide suggested he undergo an ancestry test and receive a traditional name, saying, "No, you need to do an ancestry test; we must give you a name."
This amusing moment was captured on video and quickly spread across social media platforms.
