Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has addressed the recent tensions between Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, clarifying her role in their past disputes and declaring that she will cease to intervene in such matters going forward. She implored fans to show respect for all parties involved.

She detailed her past attempts to foster reconciliation between Akindele and Abraham. Ojo acknowledged her own missteps, recalling a time she publicly criticized Funke Akindele due to issues related to Toyin Abraham's film, admitting it was an inappropriate approach. She mentioned that she and Funke Akindele eventually resolved their differences. Ojo emphasized that she invested significant effort, including pleading and even kneeling, to encourage peace between the two actresses, which was eventually achieved.

Iyabo Ojo further explained that a recent misunderstanding rekindled their past issues, but she has reached a point where she can no longer mediate. "Honestly, all this saddened me because the sky is big enough for all," she wrote. "I have tried my best, but at this point, I can’t beg anyone anymore. I honestly don’t want to get involved anymore. Please, you all should respect that… when both parties are ready, they will make peace. I love them both regardless."

The actress's statement comes after a widely circulated video from a recent film premiere, where Funke Akindele appeared to ignore Toyin Abraham's greeting, sparking considerable online discussion. Ojo's comments aim to provide clarity on her involvement and encourage observers to respect the actresses' personal space until they are ready to address any lingering issues themselves.
