As Muslims observe the holy month of Ramadan across Nigeria, Knorr has initiated its yearly 'Share The Good' program by visiting communities in Ogun, Oyo, and Lagos States. This initiative embodies the brand's dedication to nourishing families and encouraging acts of generosity, facilitating connections among people through communal meals during this sacred period.
Over the years, Knorr's 'Share The Good' initiative has gradually broadened its scope, organizing scheduled Iftar visits to mosques and community centers in various cities. Each visit involves the distribution of warm meals to Muslims breaking their fast, providing support to families and worshippers alike.
This year's edition is already underway, with the 'Share The Good' Mobile Bus making initial stops in Ogun, Oyo, and Lagos. The initiative is set to continue with additional visits planned for Abuja, Ondo, Kano, Kaduna, Kwara, and Adamawa, thereby reaching even more communities throughout Nigeria.
In addition to road visits, Knorr is also making an effort to bring 'Share The Good' into homes via digital platforms, creating and sharing recipes specifically designed for fasting Muslims. These recipes emphasize balanced, flavorful meals aimed at sustaining energy and health throughout the month.
Damilola Dania, Foods Demand Creation Lead at Unilever, shared insights about this year's undertaking, stating:
"Ramadan is a sacred time of devotion, guided by prayer, fasting, and reflection. It is a season that draws people closer, strengthening communities through shared faith and acts of kindness. Through our 'Share The Good' initiative, we are supporting families and fostering connections across the country. This year, we have expanded the initiative to reach additional communities nationwide. By sharing meals and inspiring acts of kindness, we hope to reinforce the spirit of generosity and compassion that defines Ramadan, leaving a lasting impact in every community we visit."
Knorr remains committed to ensuring that nutritious meals are accessible while nurturing a culture of generosity and kindness through 'Share The Good'. Throughout Ramadan, the brand plays a significant role in fortifying the relationships that unite families and communities.
