Kola Omotosho captured attention with his striking fashion choice at the Lagos premiere of Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde’s film, 'Mother’s Love.' He donned a teal- green double-breasted suit, complemented by flared trousers reminiscent of the 1970s, a purple striped silk tie, and sleek patent leather boots.
Upon his arrival, many were taken aback by the bold teal hue of his suit, distinguishing it from typical navy or charcoal options. The fabric boasted a rich texture, striking a balance between linen and fine wool. The suit's peaked lapels and four dark buttons provided a polished appearance, while the structured shoulders accentuated a clean silhouette, exemplifying top-notch Nollywood red carpet fashion.
It was the trousers, however, that truly drew the eye. Tailored with a subtle flair at the hem, they nodded toward 1970s styles while maintaining a modern freshness, showcasing a deliberate fashion statement.
Beneath his jacket, he wore a crisp white dress shirt with a sturdy collar, grounding the overall look. The silk tie, featuring diagonal stripes in purple and deep violet, paired beautifully against the teal, blending boldness with elegance.
The footwear selection continued the theme: stylish black patent leather boots with a pointed toe and slight heel. A gold chain bracelet on his wrist added just the right amount of luxury without overshadowing the suit.
Kola Omotosho presented himself as someone who values the prestige of a Lagos film premiere, and it appeared the occasion celebrated him in return.
