Leeds showcased a spirited performance in the opening half but squandered key opportunities, including a miss from Dominic Calvert-Lewin from close range.

City capitalized on a mistake by Leeds just before the half-time whistle. Semenyo managed to connect with a low cross from Ryan Ait-Nouri, scoring his sixth goal for Manchester City since his transfer in January.

In the second half, Marc Guehi came close to doubling City’s lead, but Leeds nearly leveled the score in the final moments, with Jaka Bijol's header going wide. Manchester City celebrated their third consecutive victory at Leeds United’s home stadium, marking their fifth successive league win against the Whites.

This victory has allowed Manchester City to cut Arsenal's lead at the top of the standings to two points. Meanwhile, Leeds remains embroiled in the relegation battle, positioned at 15th with 31 points from 28 matches.
