Frank elaborated on the cultural significance tied to the gesture, explaining, "The custom is that a bride learns how to feed her husband properly. You kneel down to give me the cake, and when you go into your husband’s house you follow suits, that’s how you follow the tradition."

In response, Ifedayo emphasized her desire for authenticity, stating, "I know, and that’s the issue. I didn’t want to be a hypocrite because I never used to kneel down."
