This financial assistance was distributed in Garaku, located in Kokona Local Government Area, as part of the "Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau Scholarship Students Fund 2026 Project."
Each student in the program received an allocation of ₦50,000, a sum designated to alleviate the financial pressures associated with tuition fees and other academic expenditures faced by their families.
Speaker Jatau emphasized the importance of education as a cornerstone for achievement, stating, "As education is key to success, that is why I have decided to assist the students with this scholarship." He encouraged the recipients to utilize the funds wisely to enhance their academic performance.
Furthermore, he highlighted that this scholarship program is designed to complement the educational advancement efforts spearheaded by Governor Abdullahi Sule within the state.
In addition to the scholarship awards, the Speaker's office also supplied exercise books to various primary schools throughout the constituency, thereby offering support to foundational education.

Numerous stakeholders, including members of the legislature, local government administrators, and educational officials, lauded the program, characterizing it as a significant measure towards easing financial burdens on families and broadening educational access.
These figures also issued an appeal for other public officeholders and philanthropists to replicate this benevolent gesture.
