National Assembly Delays Plenary Resumption to March 10

The National Assembly has rescheduled its plenary session, now set to restart on March 10, 2026, following an earlier plan for March 5. This decision was communicated to members via a notice issued on Tuesday.

The National Assembly has once again postponed the date for the resumption of its plenary sessions, which were initially intended to take place on Thursday, March 5, now moved to Tuesday, March 10.

A notification sent to both Senators and House of Representatives members on Tuesday indicated that plenary will now kick off on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

This announcement was made by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana.

Members from both legislative chambers were advised to note the updated schedule and make necessary adjustments to their official commitments.

The leadership of the two Houses expressed their apologies for any inconveniences this change might cause.

According to previous reports, the resumption date was shifted from February 24 to March 5 to allow Assembly Committees to complete ongoing budget defense sessions.
