A Nigerian girl, allegedly lured to Ghana with promises of employment, has become a victim of sex trafficking and faced physical abuse for not fulfilling her captors' demands.

According to Zege Orkwande, an activist from Benue State dedicated to locating and rescuing trafficked girls from his region, the victim was enticed to travel to Ghana under false pretenses of securing a legitimate job.

Orkwande shared a video of the incident on social media on Sunday, April 5, indicating that further details and actions to apprehend those responsible would follow. He stated in a post, "She was deceived, trafficked to Ghana. Because she's unable to sleep with 30 men a day, she received punishment. I'll bring the gist here and make necessary arrests soon."

The activist’s post highlighted the harrowing conditions the girl was subjected to, emphasizing the daily expectation of engaging in sexual activity with numerous men, a target she apparently could not meet, leading to her being flogged.
