A Nigerian woman has strongly advised men to consider a prenuptial agreement before sponsoring their girlfriends for overseas education, particularly in the United Kingdom. She expressed that undertaking such a financial commitment without a legal safeguard would be unreasonable.
Sharing her perspective via her X (formerly Twitter) account, @Olajumokeokenla, the lady recounted a disturbing experience involving her former roommate. According to her post, the roommate financed his girlfriend's Master's degree program in the UK. However, shortly after her relocation, the girlfriend allegedly engaged in infidelity. When the boyfriend discovered the betrayal, the girlfriend reportedly involved the police, leading to his arrest. He is now reportedly under investigation for assault and safeguarding concerns.
Her post highlights a contentious issue in relationships, particularly concerning financial support and trust, urging caution among men in similar situations.
