A Nigerian medical practitioner and prominent online personality, Ada Ujaligwa, has publicly condemned a statement made by Emediong Sunday on Facebook, which asserted that a girl child is inherently likely to cause shame and disgrace to her family.
Sunday's controversial post explicitly stated: “a girl child is most likely to bring shame and disgrace to her family”.
In a swift and firm reply, Dr. Ujaligwa countered Sunday's claim. She wrote, “Yes o…..Just like your mother brought shame and disgrace to your family by giving birth to you okoto meow meow ashigbakwa nwoke.”
