Honourable Nkeiruka Onyejeocha concluded her tenure as the Minister of State for Labour and Employment on Friday, conveying her sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for granting her the chance to serve within his administration.
In a message released via her official X account, previously known as Twitter, Onyejeocha shared that her decision was made "with a heart full of gratitude." She characterized her period in office as a significant time of service to the nation, acknowledging the honour and privilege bestowed upon her by the President.
While the specific reasons for her departure were not detailed, the outgoing minister stressed that her resignation does not signify an end to her engagement in public service.
"This is not an end but a new beginning. I remain committed to service, to progress, and to building the Nigeria we all deserve," she declared.
Onyejeocha, who previously represented the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in Abia State as a lawmaker, reassured the Nigerian populace of her ongoing dedication to the country's development.
