Pastor Francis Aduh Ojo of the Dunamis Church has died following a car accident that occurred while he was trying to evade bandits.
The incident transpired on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
His nephew, Abuja Richard Enemona, took to Facebook on Friday to confirm the tragic news.
He shared that the pastor encountered the bandits during their raid and was attempting to escape when he crashed and died instantly.
“My Uncle was coming from Makurdi yesterday after a crusade and he ran into bandits and was trying to escape but had an accident and died immediately,” he posted.
He also expressed the sorrow felt by their family and community, saying, “Until his death, he was a pastor serving in the Dunamis Church. Since morning my family and entire community has been plunged into deep mourning.
“Rest well uncle Pastor Abraham Francis Aduh Ojo.”
The community continues to mourn the loss of the pastor in the wake of this sad incident.
