Paul Okoye Rejects Claims That His Accuser Has Been Sentenced to Six Years

Paul Okoye, popularly referred to as Rudeboy, has refuted claims circulating in the media that a young woman, who accused him of sexual assault and abusing minors, has been sentenced to six years in prison.

On March 5, social media platforms buzzed with reports that the individual known as @chubbiediva had received the sentence after being prosecuted for making false accusations against the artist.

In an Instagram Story, Paul labeled these reports as "fake news."

This controversy began on September 23 when the accused posted a comment under a celebratory post for Paul's wife, Ifeoma, who was marking her birthday. In the comments, someone suggested that Paul had cheated on his ex-wife, Anita, with their maid. In response to this, @chubbiediva alleged that Paul had raped or coerced the maid and claimed that he had expelled his wife and sister-in- law from their home after being discovered.

Upon seeing these comments, Paul expressed his intention to utilize all available legal avenues to ensure that the individual responsible for the statements faced justice.
