The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, also confirmed the President's visit and the commissioning of projects, emphasizing that these developments were designed to address crucial infrastructure needs across the state.

Osiyemi elaborated that the Opebi–Mende–Ojota Link Bridge was developed to alleviate traffic congestion and offer alternative routes for commuters in key areas such as Allen, Opebi, Maryland, and Ojota.

He also explained that the LASGIS building aims to improve land administration through digitization, while the Multi-Agency Complex is intended to house more state government parastatals within the secretariat premises.

Additionally, Osiyemi mentioned that the food logistics hub situated in Abijo is expected to bolster agro-trade with its advanced storage and trading facilities. The Tolu Schools Complex has undergone upgrades, now featuring new classrooms, ICT laboratories, and sports facilities.

According to the Commissioner, the Maracana Stadium in Ajegunle is equipped with 19 mini football pitches, designed to foster grassroots sports development.
