Alexes Peres, the ex-wife of musician Harrysong, publicly shared her heart- wrenching decision to hand over custody of their two children, ages 4 and 3.

In a video posted on social media earlier today, Alexes voiced accusations against her former husband, claiming he has made her life difficult since she chose not to return to their marital home after leaving the marriage two years ago.

She stated, "This man does not allow me any peace. He thwarts my efforts at every turn. He shows up at my residence without warning, and I am harassed by him continually. There are so many issues I can't address online every time, but I am at my wit’s end! He is mostly absent, leaving his househelp and a houseboy to run things. He just wants to assert control."

Alexes Peres discusses her custody decision regarding her children with singer Harrysong.

Alexes also mentioned that Harrysong recently filed a petition against her with false allegations, to which she plans to respond with a counter-petition in due time.

"He has manipulated me emotionally regarding the children. I have decided to give him custody for now, but this doesn’t mean I won’t reclaim my children in the future. I’ve simply reached my limit; I won’t endure any longer as I am aware I will fight for my children when the time is right. They are still minors at 4 and 3 years old. You want to take them to live with your househelp because I declined your offer to return? You are intent on making my life difficult in Asaba.

Harry, I am not making this choice because I am weak; I need to find my own way. Therefore, if you claim you can take care of them well, go ahead and do so. My only hope is that nothing happens to my children, considering how rarely you are around.

When the moment comes, I will contest all the accusations you have made against me. Nigerians, please bear witness to my plight."

A video of her addressing the issue can be viewed below.
