Students and staff members were fortunate to escape unharmed when a four- storey school building collapsed in the Aguda region of Ogba, Lagos, on Monday, March 9.

The collapse took place shortly after the evacuation of individuals from the building. Witnesses reported that the structure fell around three minutes post-evacuation, although it had previously exhibited signs of structural problems. Emergency services, including the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service, were promptly dispatched to the site.
