Reality TV star Tacha has pointed fingers at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the outcome of the semi-final match on Wednesday, January 14, where Nigeria faced Morocco.

The Super Eagles were eliminated after a penalty shootout against Morocco.

The game was overseen by a referee from Ghana and a linesman from South Africa. Many Nigerians have criticized their authority, alleging that biases existed due to the historical rivalries between the countries.

Tacha, echoing the sentiment of numerous Nigerians, lamented the results of the match.

Reality TV star Tacha expressing her views on the NFF and the referees' selection.

In her Instagram post, she remarked that the NFF is lacking seriousness. She stated that the organization should have filed a complaint with CAF the moment they learned the referees’ nationalities were from Ghana and South Africa.

"The @thenff is a very unserious organization.

Two referees from rival countries – Ghana and South Africa? How could that happen?

The moment those referees were announced, the NFF should have petitioned CAF! Even if CAF refused to make a change, submitting a petition would have urged the referees to perform better.

Instead, we got nothing but silence. What was the result? One of the poorest officiated matches in football history.

The referee continuously disrupted the game's flow. Numerous questionable fouls were called, to the extent that even Moroccan players appeared confused about the reasons for the whistles. It was that detrimental.

This was not a case of “home advantage.” It was a complete failure in officiating.

If the @thenff has any decency, they should petition CAF, request a review, and scrutinize whether that referee is fit to officiate at this level.

Such performances tarnish the integrity of African football.. FR" she expressed.
