Tinubu Extends Birthday Wishes to Enugu Governor on His 54th Celebration

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his best wishes to Dr. Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, in honor of his 54th birthday on March 17. He highlighted the significant progress achieved in the state during Mbah’s tenure over the past two years.

In a statement released by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the president acknowledged Mbah’s strong dedication to progressive governance and constitutional democracy, reflected in the transformative projects and initiatives led by his administration.

Tinubu noted that Mbah, a former private-sector executive with accomplishments in the oil and gas industry, assumed office as the governor of Enugu State in 2023.

“During my official visit to Enugu in 2025, I witnessed firsthand what effective and capable leadership, as exemplified by Mbah, can achieve when focused on a clear vision and dedicated service to the populace,” said Tinubu.

He added, “Dr. Mbah’s inclusive governance approach and collaboration with other governors in the Southeast is driving the region towards economic and political transformation.”
