Last season, Sowunmi emerged as West Ham’s Under-18s leading scorer, achieving multiple hat-tricks including standout performances against Reading and Aston Villa. His efforts were instrumental in securing the Under-18 Premier League Cup for the team.

This transfer comes only six months after he inked his first professional contract with West Ham.

Upon his transfer, Sowunmi shared his enthusiasm about joining Spurs: "I’m really excited to be here. I know a lot about the club from playing against them over the years.
