Narinder Kaur, a prominent UK television personality, has become the target of online harassment after trolls edited her photograph to imply a connection with Jeffrey Epstein, the deceased financier infamous for his sex crimes.

The digitally altered image features the 53-year-old Kaur, widely recognized for her roles on shows such as Jeremy Vine and Good Morning Britain. This manipulated photograph was shared on the platform X by an anonymous user.

In the distorted image, Epstein is depicted wearing a black polo shirt with his arm around Kaur, who poses for the camera. However, the original photo showcases Epstein embracing Karyna Shuliak, a Belarusian woman believed to be his last girlfriend.

Reports suggest that artificial intelligence (AI) was likely employed to create the fake image, casting doubts about Ms. Kaur's supposed relationship with Epstein.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Kaur expressed her outrage: 'I have never met, or had any dealings with Jeffrey Epstein. The need to publicly clarify this highlights the danger and surreal nature of AI misuse.'

She further noted, 'It’s draining to constantly defend against falsehoods. Waking up to see your image manipulated into abhorrent scenarios carries a real emotional burden.'

Kaur believes she has been singled out for her skin color and her outspoken presence on social media platforms.

'I'm being targeted by trolls who fully comprehend their actions—they aim to degrade my reputation, associate me with something utterly grotesque, and get people questioning the veracity of my character,' she added.

Kaur referred to this situation as a modern form of online abuse, asserting, 'Real images or events are no longer necessary; AI can generate fake scenarios, leaving people questioning your reality in mere minutes.'

She concluded, 'I believe my advocacy and visibility as a woman of color may make me a target. My outspoken nature seems to attract this type of hostility.'

Additionally, it has been reported that a complaint regarding the original post has been submitted to a police department in England, and the case has now been escalated to the Metropolitan Police.
