Sani highlighted that this ambitious project, developed by ARISE Broadcast and THISDAY Media Group, is significant not just as a new digital platform, but as a representation of an African-owned social media ecosystem that is fast, fair, and inclusive. The app is specifically designed to meet the needs of underserved communities by providing low-data, high-speed connectivity, and features such as messaging with voice notes, community groups, and thoughtful moderation.
He added, "The launch of this revolutionary super app reaffirms your dedication to media freedom and enhancing Africa's stature within the global content landscape. By challenging existing global narratives and amplifying the voices of authentic African storytellers, you are redefining how our stories are created, disseminated, and monetised."
