In his address during the celebration marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Emir characterized farming as a “noble path to wealth,” which can significantly contribute to the fight against poverty and unemployment.

He stressed that agriculture is a pivotal component for the development of Nigeria, encouraging young people to avoid idleness and engage actively in productive farming.

Additionally, he cautioned parents and guardians to remain vigilant over their children’s activities, warning against the increasing prevalence of hard drug use among youth, labeling it a serious threat to the well-being of society.

The Emir expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for allowing Muslims to complete the 30 days of Ramadan fasting, remarking that such complete observance had not been witnessed in some previous years.

He referred to this occasion as a rare blessing and encouraged the faithful to maintain the values of patience, sacrifice, and devotion that they cultivated during their fasting.

The Eid prayer drew a significant crowd from within and outside the emirate, presided over by the Chief Imam, Goni Isah, who prayed for peace, unity, and ongoing prosperity for both the state and the nation.
