Court Orders Remand of Kano Electoral Commission Chairman Amid N1bn Fraud Allegations
The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the detention of Sani Malumfashi, the chairman of the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission, alongside two other defendants, over accusations of money laundering amounting to N1 billion. They pleaded not guilty to the charges and are awaiting bail proceedings.
