The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed its disbelief regarding the involvement of one of its officials in the abduction and murder of Francis Igwe, the father of Kelechi Igwe, a former Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State.
Ebonyi state police have recovered the body of Ezeogo Francis Igwe, the abducted traditional ruler of Ndufu-Alike and father of a former deputy governor. He was kidnapped while heading to church last Sunday, and the assailants reportedly killed him after negotiating a ransom.
Francis Igwe, the father of ex-Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Kelechi Igwe, has been kidnapped while heading to church. The incident took place in his community on Sunday morning.
