Actress Lilian Afegbai has disclosed that she maintains a strict privacy policy regarding her relationships, choosing not to share even with her closest friends.
In an appearance on the programme titled Unfiltered and Extra Spicy, the actress highlighted her innate secretive nature, stating she feels no obligation to reveal personal matters to anyone.
"In reality, I do not talk about my relationship or my private life with friends. I'm inherently reserved, and although some may label me untrustworthy, I refuse to divulge my personal affairs," she remarked.
Lilian further indicated that her extensive circle of friends often leads to misunderstandings about her social life.
"People presume that having many friends means I am close to all of them, but that is far from the truth," she clarified.
When questioned about the origins of her guarded disposition, the actress attributed it to her experiences during childhood.
"I struggle with significant trust issues that stem from childhood trauma. I am currently addressing this with the help of a therapist, and I understand that I am still in the process of healing," she added.
