The close political associates of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of Petroleum Resources, have secured key positions in the newly restructured leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State.
During the state delegate congress held on Tuesday, Lokpobiri's longtime ally, Hon. Warman Weri Ogoriba, was elected as the Chairman of the Bayelsa State APC.
