A video that has circulated on social media features Barbir accusing President Tinubu of failing to address the escalating insecurity in the region.

In his remarks, he stated, "They just murdered over ten people, innocent Christians on Palm Sunday…Tinubu, where are you? Your people are being slaughtered in the night while you remain at Aso Rock doing absolutely nothing. You let your people be killed repeatedly. When will this end? When will you hear the cries of Nigerians? Of Christians? You can no longer deny that genocide is happening. They are being slaughtered, and you pretend there is no issue? You will regret what you are doing."
