Ghanaian Man Takes His Own Life in Denmark After DNA Tests Reveal He's Not the Biological Father of His Four Kids

Benjamin Offei, a Ghanaian national, has allegedly committed suicide after DNA tests indicated that the four children he has been raising with his wife are not his biological offspring.

A friend based in Germany, Bmm Swerdna, revealed this distressing update in a Facebook post dated February 2, 2026, mentioning that Offei was discovered deceased in his garage in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In the post, Swerdna expressed sorrow over the loss: "My friend Benjamin Offei, who found out through a DNA test that none of the four children from his 19-year marriage to his Ghanaian wife were actually his, has taken his life in his garage in Copenhagen," he stated.

Reports suggest that Offei and his wife were in a romantic relationship for a decade before their marriage, which adds another layer of tragedy to the situation.
