The eagerly awaited new season is set to air soon, following the successful reception of its inaugural season.
According to the media company, "Zabi Biyu" has successfully captivated viewers across Northern Nigeria and beyond, thanks to its engaging narratives, cultural nuance, and well-developed characters.
Celestine Umeibe, the Chief Executive Officer of the media firm, noted that the series quickly gained popularity among fans, receiving accolades for its genuine representation of love, choices, and the intricate dynamics of modern relationships within a traditional context.
Umeibe further mentioned that the upcoming season aims to build on the success of its predecessor by introducing more drama, enhanced character arcs, and unexpected plot developments.
"Audiences can anticipate a further exploration of the characters' journeys as they deal with the repercussions of their prior choices while confronting new challenges that will test their ethics, relationships, and aspirations," Umeibe stated.
He also emphasized: "Zabi Biyu showcases the type of culturally relevant drama we are committed to producing for our viewers, especially targeting the youth. The feedback from Season 1 was incredible, and we are excited to offer an even more engaging experience in Season 2. For advertisers, this provides an opportunity to connect meaningfully with dedicated audiences throughout Hausa- speaking regions."
Salisu Balarabe, the Director of Season 2, highlighted that the essence of "Zabi Biyu" lies in its storytelling, reflecting the real-life experiences of its audience, while adapting to an increasingly intense and emotionally complex narrative, all while respecting cultural subtleties, language, and the everyday realities shared among Hausa-speaking communities.
