The incident unfolded on Friday afternoon, January 30, 2026, as the gunmen invaded the village, discharging their firearms indiscriminately and instilling fear among the local populace.

The deceased have been named as Faasema Alibo, Mr. Mfavega, and an elderly man identified from the neighboring Chanwa community.
