Afrobeats superstar Asake has garnered widespread praise online after presenting his parents with new luxury vehicles in touching moments that have circulated widely on social media.
The Grammy-nominated artist began by surprising his mother with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz G-Class G63, subsequently gifting his father a 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser SUV. Videos documenting these events show the artist celebrating with his family as he handed over the keys to the impressive vehicles.
In one widely viewed clip, Asake is seen embracing his mother before presenting her with the keys to the opulent SUV, eliciting an excited response as she admired the white vehicle.
The Mercedes-Benz G63 is recognized globally as a highly desirable luxury SUV, typically starting around $196,900, with custom or special editions potentially exceeding $230,000.
Asake's bond with his mother has previously captured public attention. In December 2025, the duo visited the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, at his palace in Ile-Ife. During the visit, the monarch acknowledged her unwavering support for her son's career, referring to her as a "steadfast pillar" during his rise to fame.
The monarch also commended Asake's management, led by Lala, highlighting their loyalty as a reflection of "true spirit of Omoluabi," a Yoruba concept signifying integrity and good character.
Following the generous gift to his mother, the artist also presented his father with a 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser, a gesture that drew commendations from fans online. Social media videos show Asake leading his father to a garage where the SUV was parked before revealing the surprise.
This act follows several months after Asake's father publicly claimed his son had neglected him, a statement the musician had refuted. The recent exchange of vehicles suggests a reconciliation between father and son, with many fans expressing joy at the apparent family reunion.
In addition to these parental gifts, Asake has also enhanced his personal vehicle collection by acquiring a Brabus G800, a high-performance variant of the G-Wagon.
Clips shared via his Instagram stories captured the delivery process. The artist was also seen on a video call with Sadiq Saminu Geidam, CEO of Abuja Car, as he prepared to receive the new vehicles.
Asake gained significant recognition in 2020 after releasing his popular single "Lady." He joined YBNL Nation in February 2022 and has since released three studio albums: "Mr Money With The Vibes" (2022), "Work of Art" (2023), and "Lungu Boy" (2024).
He is considered one of Nigeria's leading music artists and recently received a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the Grammy Awards, though the award was won by fellow Nigerian artist Tems.
The year 2026 has started positively for the artist. Earlier this year, he collaborated with Wizkid on a four-track EP titled "REAL," which quickly topped streaming charts and became a viral sensation across social media platforms.
Asake has also announced upcoming plans for his next studio album, "Money," with previously released singles "Why Love" and "Badman Gangster" (featuring Tiakola) already building anticipation for what fans expect to be another successful year.
The singer has confirmed his relocation to Los Angeles, United States, as he continues to broaden his international reach while maintaining connections with his family in Nigeria.
