Benjamin Hundeyin, an assistant commissioner of police (ACP), has been dismissed from his role as the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), with Anthony Okon Placid, a deputy commissioner of police (DCP), stepping in as his replacement.

Although no official announcement has been made regarding this development, reliable sources within the police headquarters in Abuja have confirmed the change to PREMIUM TIMES.

Additionally, it has been reported that a new department named the New Media Office has been established, with Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Ali Giwa chosen to lead this unit.
