Brooklyn Beckham is said to have eliminated a tattoo widely regarded as a tribute to his father, iconic football player David Beckham, which has led to renewed discussions concerning the evolving familial relationships within the celebrated Beckham lineage.
This development comes just days after Brooklyn, 26, distanced himself from his family by issuing a blunt statement expressing his lack of interest in mending ties.
Now, it seems Brooklyn may have further signaled a rift with his father by transforming the tattoo that once served as a tribute.
The significant anchor tattoo previously inked on his upper right arm featured the word 'dad' woven into the design, accompanied by 'Love you Bust,' which was a term of endearment used by David for his eldest son.
However, recent images obtained by The Sun suggest that Brooklyn has had the original design removed, indicating a significant alteration.
Reports from the publication suggest that the tattoo has been reimagined to display merely three unremarkable shapes on the anchor.
Additionally, the affectionate text referencing his father appears to have been significantly faded.
In the midst of this family situation, Nelson Peltz, father of Brooklyn's wife Nicola, commented on the unfolding drama during a Q&A; session at WSJD's Invest Live event in West Palm Beach on Tuesday.
He stated: 'The story of my daughter and the Beckhams is entirely separate and not something to be discussed today. However, I can say that my daughter is doing fantastically well, and my son-in-law Brooklyn is doing great; I anticipate that they will enjoy a long and happy marriage together.'
When asked if he provides the couple with guidance in dealing with challenging circumstances, Nelson replied, 'I indeed do. Occasionally, they offer me advice as well.'
