Celebrity makeup artist Black Koko has ignited discussions on social media by addressing the challenges confronted by feminine men and the double standards that persist in societal behaviors.
During his heartfelt appearance on the Clarity Zone Podcast, Black Koko shared personal experiences of being verbally abused and belittled within his community due to his femininity. He mentioned that many young men who embody feminine traits are frequently bullied, unfairly labeled as 'bad eggs', or even regarded as being possessed, despite their innocence.
He further claimed that the very individuals who ridicule and shun feminine boys in public often seek them out in private settings, exploiting their presence or forming secret associations.
Reflecting on his extensive experience in the entertainment industry, Black Koko recounted multiple occasions where he encountered prominent personalities at private events, who portray drastically different personas in public.
'I grew weary of pretending,' he remarked, clarifying that his decision to embrace his authentic self was influenced by witnessing others conceal their true identities while behaving differently in private.
