Rapper Lil Tjay has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting incident that involved fellow artist Offset in Florida.

Authorities reported that the 24-year-old musician was arrested on Monday evening and subsequently booked at the Broward County Jail. He was charged with a misdemeanor offense of disorderly conduct-affray, with police indicating his involvement in a dispute prior to the shooting. Lil Tjay was later released after posting a $500 bond.

The Seminole Police Department has acknowledged that a second person was detained at the scene of the incident. As of now, no further charges have been disclosed concerning this second individual.

The incident took place near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, an area where Offset was reportedly shot. Representatives for Offset have confirmed that he was taken to a hospital, is in stable condition, and is currently under medical observation.

Law enforcement officials stated that the shooting occurred in the hotel's valet section. One person sustained injuries that were not considered life- threatening and was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital for medical attention. Investigators confirmed that two individuals were detained as part of the ongoing investigation. The police have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat, and operations at the hotel have returned to normal.

Lil Tjay's legal representative, Dawn Florio, released a statement to address media reports that suggested her client was directly involved in the shooting. She emphasized that Lil Tjay was not shot and has not been charged in relation to the shooting incident itself, calling such reports inaccurate.
