This year’s luncheon, themed “Off Script,” celebrated Black women who are daring to alter the traditional Hollywood landscape—asserting their creative dominion and ownership. With Marsai Martin as the host and tributes to stars like Kerry Washington and LaTanya Richardson Jackson, attendees represented some of the most significant figures in the industry.
Chlöe's fashion choice was one of bold architectural flair. She donned a structured, deep burgundy velvet corset complemented by a dramatic peplum, paired with a striking tiger-print skirt. The skirt sparked conversations with its lively hues contrasting the vibrant blue and yellow of her bodice. To draw attention to her look, she styled her hair into an extraordinarily long and sleek braid, opting for a refined beauty palette to complete the ensemble.
On the other hand, Halle embraced a more ethereal look, perhaps a brief respite from her promotional activities for her romantic comedy "You, Me & Tuscany." She chose a light, moss-green pleated chiffon gown characterized by a high neckline and cold-shoulder design, enhanced with a thigh-high slit that accentuated her movements.
