Comedian I Go Save has taken to social media platforms to share his dissatisfaction with the ongoing electricity crisis in Nigeria.
He lamented, "These past years are by far the worst in terms of power failures since I was born in Nigeria." He highlighted that numerous locations have been left without power for extended periods, sometimes lasting for weeks or even months. He raised concerns over how businesses that depend solely on governmental electricity services manage to continue operations in such an environment.
I Go Save also emphasized the difference in power access for government entities versus ordinary citizens, stating, "Aso Rock has solar panels or inverters installed; the Ministry of Power resorts to using generators; many government residences rely on generators, with their family members or associates often being the diesel suppliers or contractors."
He concluded with a pressing question: "Will we ever achieve stable electricity supply in this country?"
