Dr. Adedeji Adeleke has declared that a DNA test result indicating 0.00% disproves the accusations of paternity against his son, the Afrobeats artist Davido, claiming that there is impersonation involved regarding the recent social media allegations.

The renewed controversy over paternity related to Davido and a young girl named Anu has sparked significant public interest again. This resurgence follows the teenager's recent appeal on social media for Davido to undergo another DNA test.

This development follows an earlier ARISE NEWS report in which the singer refuted the new request, emphasizing that he has previously taken five DNA tests over the years, all yielding negative outcomes.

According to Davido, among the five tests, he personally arranged three while two were conducted at laboratories chosen by the other party, with all results affirming he is not the biological father.

Delving deeper into this matter, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke shared a detailed account of the origins and handling of the issue over the past decade during a press conference held at his residence in Lagos on Wednesday.

The business executive revealed that the controversy first surfaced in 2014 when he received an official letter alleging that Davido had fathered a child with a woman and subsequently abandoned them. As the head of the family, he quickly took charge and initiated a DNA testing process in good faith. Samples were collected from Davido, his cousin Bayo Adeleke (known as B Red), and the child at a reputable medical facility, with tests sent abroad for reliable analysis.

The results from this initial test showed a 0.00% chance of paternity. Nevertheless, Dr. Adeleke did not dismiss the matter and proposed more confirmatory tests at his own cost, which would also include covering the travel and accommodation expenses for the child's family in Lagos. However, these additional tests were never conducted after the first results.

Throughout the years, the allegation has resurfaced sporadically on social media, often generating renewed claims and emotional appeals. According to Dr. Adeleke, the cycle heightened recently when Anu made a public appeal online, which prompted a reaction from Davido that brought the topic back into discussion.

In response to the latest allegations, Dr. Adeleke indicated that the child’s aunt in Abuja reached out to him, clarifying that neither she nor the child's mother were responsible for the posts circulating on social media. He stated that the aunt claimed the accounts spreading the allegations were impersonated and that the family had disassociated themselves from those involved.

Dr. Adeleke further mentioned that he has maintained a record of the communications with the aunt that support this assertion and alleged that Kemi Olunloyo was the individual impersonating the accounts used for disseminating the renewed claims.

Additionally, he confirmed that he has documented evidence of all DNA tests carried out over the years, including those referred to by Davido, which consistently confirm a 0.00% probability of paternity.

He emphasized that the family’s actions have always been governed by responsibility, transparency, and reliance on scientifically verifiable evidence. Dr. Adeleke asserted that had science confirmed Davido as the father, they would have embraced the child without question.

Concluding his statement, Dr. Adeleke warned that the ongoing spread of what he characterized as false claims, impersonation, and misinformation could lead to legal consequences, as the family seeks a definitive resolution on an issue they believe has already been resolved conclusively by scientific evidence.
