Denise Richards has been mandated to pay temporary financial support to her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, as they navigate a contentious divorce.
Court documents acquired by TMZ reveal that on Wednesday, February 25, a judge decreed that Richards is to provide Phypers with $5,000 monthly in temporary spousal support. These payments are scheduled to begin on March 5 and are set to continue until the court issues a new directive.
Furthermore, the court has instructed Richards to pay $25,000 towards Phypers' attorney fees, with an additional $5,000 earmarked for hiring a forensic accountant. This total of $30,000 will be disbursed in three $10,000 installments by the end of March, April, and May.
This ruling comes on the heels of Phypers' October 2025 request for spousal support. Both parties reportedly provided sworn testimonies before the decision was made by the judge.
The divorce proceedings between Richards, a former star of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," and Phypers have been fraught with disagreements concerning finances, income, and various business transactions. The rising legal fees have become a major point of contention, with both parties accusing one another of being responsible for the escalating costs. The case remains unresolved.
