Denrele shared footage from his visit on Instagram, stating:

"Today is not just Valentine's Day; it is GOLDIE Day.

Thirteen years ago, Heaven gained a star, and we lost a vibrant personality.

However, legends never truly die; they resonate through time.

Every February 14, amidst the celebration of love, I come to you with a wreath… and my heartfelt words.

For love transcends the living.

Love is about remembrance.

It is loyalty.

It is uttering your name to ensure it remains vivid.

GOLDIE!

You were the sparkle before sparkles became a trend.

You were bold before 'soft life' entered our lexicon.

You represented artistry.

You embodied vibrance.

You were boldness wrapped in beautiful sound.

Today I placed flowers on your grave, but more importantly, I laid gratitude.

For your melodies.

For your unique spirit.

For the enchantment you brought to our lives.

They may have moved on.
