On Wednesday night, a woman suspected of driving while intoxicated was taken into custody after leading police on a perilous chase in Los Angeles, USA, as reported by authorities.
The event unfolded as law enforcement described a reckless and extended pursuit through crowded streets, where the driver allegedly disregarded traffic signals and performed sudden U-turns, all while attempting to evade capture.
Video footage shared by FOX 11 Los Angeles depicted the chase concluding in a packed parking lot, where the woman halted her vehicle after getting boxed in by parked cars.
Instead of fleeing on foot or attempting to escape her situation, the woman exited her car and started dancing around it, capturing the attention of bystanders as police closed in.
The footage reveals her improvising a dance around the vehicle just moments before officers arrived and commanded her to lie down on the ground.
She complied, lying flat on the pavement with her hands positioned behind her back and was taken into custody without resistance. Local station KTTV-TV indicated that the woman's identity remains undisclosed, and she was arrested at the scene.
