The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has declared a phased return of several flight operations to and from Dubai International Airport, which had previously been suspended due to operational challenges.

According to a statement from the authority, this gradual resumption comes in the wake of earlier interruptions caused at the airport.

The statement noted, "The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has announced a gradual resumption of some flights to and from Dubai International Airport to selected destinations, following a temporary suspension."

Travelers are being urged to verify their flight statuses with the respective airlines prior to embarking on their journeys.

"Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for the most recent updates regarding their flights," emphasized the authority.

Previously, operations at the airport were halted after a drone incident resulted in damage to a fuel tank and led to a fire in the airport area.

The statement revealed, "The airport had temporarily suspended flights after a drone incident damaged a fuel tank and caused a fire."
