In a tragic incident, Mpho Molapo, a woman from South Africa, was allegedly shot dead by her former partner at her residence.
The event transpired on March 15, 2026, in Rockville, Gauteng.
Reports indicate that Mpho had recently concluded her relationship with the suspect and had obtained a protection order due to ongoing harassment and stalking from him.
After committing the fatal act and injuring two other individuals during the incident, the suspected shooter fled the scene.
Law enforcement has since issued a warrant for the suspect's arrest.
Mpho is survived by her 11-year-old daughter.
