On Friday, March 28, 2014, the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, served as the venue for an extravagant launch where Fair and White Nigeria introduced its effective range of beauty products amidst a gathering of celebrities, beauty aficionados, industry experts, distributors, and marketers. Fast forward twelve years, and the brand is set to return to the same location on April 24, 2026, to commemorate thirty successful years in the Nigerian cosmetics market.
In a mirrored fashion to the 2014 event, the upcoming celebration will kick off with the "Miss Fair and White Beauty Pageant 2026." The winner not only earns the title of brand ambassador but also takes home a cash prize of N10 million, with the first runner-up receiving N7.5 million and the second runner-up awarded N5 million. Numerous consolation prizes will be available for other participants.
According to a press release from Ingram Osigwe, Media Adviser for Fair and White Nigeria Ltd, the beauty pageant is open to young women aged 18 to 25, requiring a non-refundable registration fee of N50,000. Registration will remain open until March 31, 2026, and interested participants can learn more at www.missfairandwhiteng.com.
Osigwe noted that the event is also available for sponsorship by banks and other corporate entities associated with Fair and White Nigeria Ltd. He emphasized the potential for sponsors to engage with a diverse audience, allowing them to market their products and services while benefiting from the brand's established market presence.
Over the past three decades, Fair and White Nigeria Ltd, recognized for its flagship products, has continually worked to assist Nigerian women in achieving radiant skin through an array of glamorous product variations. Some notable offerings include Original Exclusive, Exclusive Vitamin C Gold, So White, So White Vitamin C, So Lemon, So Carrot, Mix Ready2Glow, and Labo Derma Glutathione.
