FCMB Capital Markets Limited, the investment banking division of FCMB Group Plc, raised an impressive ₦1.53 trillion in corporate debt capital through bond listings and commercial paper quotations on the FMDQ Securities Exchange in 2025. This achievement positioned the firm at the forefront of the exchange’s Fixed Income Primary Markets Sponsors’ League Table for the year ending December 31, 2025.
The data from the exchange indicates that FCMB Capital Markets was the leading contributor in both the bond listings and commercial paper quotation markets throughout the year.
In the bond sector, the firm commanded 11.66% of the total listings, thereby securing the top rank. Within the commercial paper space, it also achieved the highest share of quotations at 7.68%, surpassing other entities active in that market segment.
The FMDQ report highlighted that 58 registration members took part in listings, while 77 were involved in quotations. Over the evaluation period, 47 institutions actively sponsored fixed-income securities listings or quotations, excluding those associated with the Federal Government.
